Greetings!

I am Carmen A. Williams, a trainee in cohort four of the Ancestral Lineage Healing Program.

I have been on my spiritual path for over 45 years, and I’ve been honoring my ancestors and teaching ancestral awareness for over 35 years. My ancestors are people from West Africa, Mali, Nigeria, Bantu, Benin. Ghana, Senegal. Norway and Scotland. My DNA shows my people are from the Mende Tribe, of Serra Leon. The Movie “Amistad” was based on my people. They were a people who were about freedom and justice of which I am proud of. I live on the land of the Sewee People.

I am an intuitive light worker and intuitive consultant. This is what I do for a living. I have grown children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. I’ve been around the block several times and I know and read people pretty well. I don’t sign on for anything unless I get a direct revelation from the Divine Source.

I’m writing this letter in response to the public letter signed by 10 named people and 10 anonymous others, who were previous students in Daniel Foor’s, Ancestral Lineage Healing Practioner training. Also, I was not asked by Daniel or anyone with Ancestral Medicine to write this letter. I’m only speaking based on my own experience with this work and organization. I was hurt and stunned by that letter, I felt It was necessary to respond.

I attended the Zoom meetings that were organized for individuals to voice their grievances.

I listened quietly and watched a man humbly listening to all that was expressed. He apologized for any harm he may have done, and he tried to explain any misunderstandings that were brought forth (couldn’t have been me for sure). I was impressed by his openness and willingness to resolve these issues in a peaceful and respectful manner. However, there still seemed to be a prevailing vindictive spirit seeking blood.

After listening, I could never grasp what the real issues were. As hard as I tried, I could not fathom what unforgivable wrong had been committed. It seemed to me that there were changes made that folks didn’t approve of and a lack of communications or missed opportunities to communicate clearly some things that happened. Maybe some didn’t like how he operated his business. But as the founder and CEO of this business, he has the right to run it however he chooses. I found the anger and criticism puzzling. I’ve spoken with colleagues who feel the same way. I have nothing but admiration for Daniel and the amazing gifts he has brought to the world.

As I stated above, I have been working with my ancestors for over 35 plus years. When I came to a place where I could feel that I was limited in what I knew about ancestral relationships, I began to seek direction on how to expand. As I approached my ancestors with intention, I heard them say to me that I was called to be the face of my ancestors, to bring awareness to others about their presence and how to make a conscious connection to them.

So, I found myself on the web looking for more information on “ancestors.” At the top of the google page I saw Daniel Foor’s link and read the caption. I was blown away, because I found such resonance with all that I read. I later called my girlfriend and told her about Daniel Foor and she said “OMG. This is the man Baba (Ifa Priest) has been telling me to connect with for over 4 years.” The rest is history. I am now in the final phase of becoming a certified practitioner. I came seeking the work and following the guidance of my ancestors.

Because my friend and I had spent so much money on certifications, we wanted to meet Daniel Foor in person, feel his spirit and ask as many questions as we could, face to face before making a commitment to study with him. From the moment I met Daniel, I was extremely pleased with his heart and his spirit. I was highly impressed by his knowledge, his organization, and his humble, caring spirit. I found him easy to trust.

Having studied with Daniel for over a year now, all that I can say about this work and this person, is that I was right in my discernment. Daniel is not some evil conniving, inconsiderate person. If anything, I would say he is sometimes too kind.

I am so grateful for his philosophy of inclusion and his respect for the human and other-than human beings that we live among.

I admire the fact that Daniel repeatedly speaks about his many paths of learning. He always gives honor to those he learned from. It is my understanding that he was able to take the good he found from his own experiences and build his own brand, as many do and will continue to do so. There is nothing wrong with that; nor is there anything new under the sun. Teachings pulled together and packaged differently to meet a new time and people is very appropriate. So where is the harm?

I’m excited to be able to take this work to help heal all people, but my people especially. There are other ancestral teachings out here and I respect them all, but I found this technique to bring more information for in-depth healing.

Growing up with physical, sexual and emotional abuse led me to a life of seeking healing, trying to find myself, and to claim the life I came to live. It was an uphill struggle for over 23 years, but I made it. I’m here. I’m alive and I’m thriving! I found my way. I know who I am and why I am here…And now I’m reaching out to others that are ready to truly find their way and be healed.

I have gone through many spiritual pathways and I honor them all for what I was able to take away that was good. Then I found “Ancestral Lineage Healing”. This system I found to be the most healing of them all, because this system gets down to the root of all problems and challenges. Not only the challenges but also the blessings that my well Ancestors passed on to me, that I wasn’t aware of. Through this system, I’m able to connect with my well, wise, powerful and loving ancestors in a way that I had not known before. Now I can seek their wisdom to help me in my everyday life and help my family as well.

There is no way you can explain the ancestral relationship with words that will do it any justice.

This I know: that is when God gives you a work to do, it is not because of your perfection, but because of your willingness. This is what I found in Daniel Foor. My ancestors led me to Daniel and this work through divine guidance. I totally believe this work was divinely given because of the results I have received as well as the results I’ve seen in the clients I’ve worked with.

We all have things to learn in life and in a business and I feel that Daniel has evolved in this way. He has had to make some adjustments as a leader and business owner. I know this is a necessary part of business. It is not easy.

This is what I would say to those that speak so vehemently about this man and the organization, be mindful because as you are condemning him and this work, you need to be careful that you are not setting yourself up to be condemned by others.

What measure you issue out to others; you issue the same to yourself. Humbleness and Forgiveness is a must IF you intend to walk in Love with the Divine Spirit of Love!

Check yourself, or better yet, ask Spirit to check you, to show you your own short comings and blind spots. Then wait for a divine revelation that will light your heart up, with love and understanding… wait for it. I assure you if you seek, it will happen!

Reflective Questions:

· Who led you to this work? Was it yourself or your Ancestor/Spirit?

· If it was your Ancestors/Spirit, then didn’t they know what you were going to be confronted with and sent you to this work anyway?

· What lessons were you to learn from this experience? Did you pass the test, or will you have to have another experience before you realize it’s you, not someone else?

· If they (ancestors) led you to this work, then are you upset with them too, as you are with Daniel? If they lead you, then I would think you would be upset with them too. So, what are you missing here that is supposed to bring you to a more mature, loving and forgiving space within yourself?

· Ask yourself what needs to be healed in you? Is Daniel the real problem or is it what’s hidden within you that you need to deal with? These are questions that only you can answer.

If you are here because you feel drawn to this work, then make sure you are being led by Spirit /Ancestors, because no one is going to agree with everything in any organization, but know this when Spirit leads, you then trust that and work out whatever shows up for you in the process. This is an amazing work that Daniel has created. And I am so grateful for it.

What I would say to Daniel is this, when you are in business, not everyone is going to be pleased and some will mis-interpret you and your intentions. It’s the nature of business. As long as you know in your heart that you are innocent and have done your best to resolve the matter, then let the Universe handle it. If this work was inspired (as I believe It was) you will always draw those that are supposed to be there and others will be weeded out. Occult leaders draw people to themselves, but Daniel draws people to their Ancestors and Source God. Know this, that when you are doing effective Spiritual work you are going to be attacked. So, keep up the good work.

As a previous business owner, I know this too well. When a business is yours you have the right to make whatever changes you feel are necessary. It’s your business. Any organization that is growing the way Ancestral Medicine is, has to make fresh changes to meet any new challenges, so change is inevitable in life and in organizations.

Lastly, I would say, isn’t it about the “WORK” given to an imperfect person that was humble and willing enough to accept the task of bringing so many to a place of HEALING? My answer is a resounding “YES”

“Trust your own inner guidance system and not the words of another. This is the path you have been called to!” If you are called to this work trust your Spirit/Ancestors and go for it!

The world needs healing not division!
